Again with the funky hair accessories!  lol..  I can't help it.  My hair is short and I get bored!  There's only so much I can do...  I have this new fascination with feather headbands and fascinators.  At least I don't go all crazy like SJP did here at the Sex and the City premiere!!!  I think I'd rather take Drew Barrymore's approach or even Solange's.  Urban Outfitters carries some feather hairpieces and so does Bebe but with an item like this, I would HATE to see somebody else wearing the same piece as me so....  to Etsy I went. Plus, they don't seem to be made very well and the Bebe one is $79!!!  Forever 21 even carries a couple feather pieces but let's just say you get what you pay for with those...  =/ I found Rocking Retro on Etsy a vintage inspired line thats specializes in hair pieces like these.  She has a huge collection ranging from a nice accent piece to definite statement pieces so there's surely something right up your alley.  If not, she does welcome custom work.  There is something in just about every price range.  She is working on a pinup inspired summer line which I personally can't wait for!!  She has several collections each with a different feel to it including a gorgeous bridal collection for you bride to bes.  I am reviewing a headband and a fascinator that I received from Rocking Retro.  They were both beautifully well made and there was obviously time taken when designing and creating them.  My pet peeve with headbands is that most of them give me a headache after an hour of wear.. ughhh what is the point of having a cool accessory if it hurts to wear it?  Well this headband was very comfortable.  The fascinator attaches to your hair with a plastic comb and it was actually very secure.  It never felt like it was going to fall off and I had mine on all day.  I am very happy with them and I got a ton of compliments!  Here are some pics of the pieces.  I actually took pictures of the fascinator worn two different ways so that you can see that there are different ways to wear it.  Stay tuned for a giveaway of 2 of her pieces!!

I am loooooving this color!  Just so classy and understated without being boring.  Its a lavender with greyish blue tones with no shimmer or pearl to it.   So pretty.  It has a creamy finish to it and I used 2 coats and it was for perfect.  I see myself using this polish a lot since it isn't at all over the top.  I would even rock this at work easily although my job isn't super conservative or anything.  Check it out!

I got some more samples of some Crystal Coast products and I am so excited to try them!!  I got 3 shadows Pink Ice, Gold Digger and Little Boy Blue.  I also got Pink Champagne Bronzer, Sherbert blush (gawwwwwwwwwgeous) and the Luminous Glow Veil in dark.  Just recapping from my last review of Crystal Coast, the shadows (at least the ones I've tried) are not over the top shimmery, very silky smooth and easy to blend.  Her blushes are never over the top shimmery... just the perfect glow.  They are also very reasonably priced and its always great to support a stay at home mom who, like all of us here, has a passion for makeup.

Right out of the packaging, the Pink Champagne Bronzer and Sherbert Blush jumped out at me.  They were so gorgeous!!  They are simply divine on.  Pink Champagne is a soft pink with peach and gold undertones and gold shimmer.  It gives off the perfect glow without looking like a disco ball.  I'm telling you Karen has got the formula down!  Again I'm not a huge fan of too much shimmer but her products are the perfect balance.  The sheen it gives off is amazing!  I only wish I could capture it better on camera.  Sherbert looks a little bright but when applied it is the the perfect berry pink.  Great color for the summer!!  It has the same finish as Pink Champagne...  perfectly dewy.  Pink Ice is a pale, baby pink with an almost metallic finish.  Gold Digger is a pale yellow that has a flatter finish than Pink Ice but still pearlescent.  It is beyond creamy to apply!  Little Boy Blue is a baby blue with the same consistency and finish as Gold Digger. The Luminous Glow Veil in dark is the darker version of what I reviewed here.  Swatches are below.  I also did a look with Little Boy Blue and Sherbert here and one with just the Glow Veil and Pink Champagne down below.

Jane Iredale is actually the first company to provide a full line of makeup based on minerals to the consumers.  They use no fillers, products are non-comedogenic (basically doesn't clog pores), oil free and they do not test on animals.

I'm a lippie girl so the first product I tested was a lipstick called PureMoist™ LipColour in C.J.  Its a corally pinky peach color lol...  Great description yeah?  It looks a little crazy in the tube but goes on a very pretty and not too over the top with a slight shine to it.  I actually don't care for lipsticks but this one was pretty good!  My lips get pretty chapped so usually lipsticks make it worse.  This one was actually pretty moisturizing.  It felt like a balm on.  It did have that slight lipstick taste but it went away after a couple minutes.  It also had the slightest vanilla smell.  The lasting power wasn't the best but it wasn't bad either.  The great thing is it faded away nicely and didn't leave a funky color on my lips or settle in the cracks or anything.  I would definitely try other colors in this line now that I've tried this.  They have a pretty good selection of 32 shades.  The zinc oxide in them gives an SPF of 18 which is an added bonus.  These lippies are $18 each and available here. I was very excited to review the Passion Moon Potions line from Hawaii.  I ordered from Francesca who is an absolute sweetheart.  I could tell immediately that she was very passionate about her products.  She has been making all natural body care products for 6 years now with natural, fresh and mostly organic ingredients by herself and from scratch!!!  Her products are also vegan friendly.  At first glance, all her products on her website are packaged with a minimalist look to it.  The products themselves look absolutely decadent and luxurious!!  Some even looked edible lol..  The thing that really attracted me to her line were the obvious use of quality ingredients such as kukui nut oil, handmade infused oils, organic shea butter and shea oil, cocoa butter, aloe vera and one of my favorites coconut oil.  Maybe it's just me but I am drawn to products that are made out of love for quality and results.  By the way, I am not affiliated with Passion Moon Potions or any other company that I review.  So everything looks great but how do they work?!

I received a carefully packaged box with a jar of Whipped Shea Creme' in Coco-Mango (yum!), Maple Syrup Whipped Sugar Scrub, Kukui Nut Body Cream in Plumeria and a Hydrating Eye Cream.  I also got 2 Lip Tints one in Wild Blackberry and one Berry Red that I am so excited to try.  I am a sucker for anything that says lip tint =/.  I also got a Coconut Cream Chapstick and a Spearmint Healing Lip Balm (which I soooo need).  I actually slapped that on right away lol.  I've been sick for the last couple of days so I have that I've been breathing out of my mouth because my nose is stuffed up action going on.  Anyways on with my thoughts!!
