Ohhhhhh these new shadows I got from Crystal Coast are so pretty!!! They are brighter and more intense than her other very romantic, soft colors.

Sheer Miracle prides itself on offering quality, premium mineral makeup at discount prices. They have so much confidence in their products that they offer
a no questions asked, 30 day money back guarantee. The products contain no chemicals or preservatives including bismuth oxychloride, talc or parabens. They are also against animal testing. What I really love about them is that they charge a flat shipping fee of $5.50 no matter what you order within the US and $12.99 for international shipping. The foundation comes in 7 different
shades in neutral, warm and cool tones. It also has a natural SPF 30 in it and considered nearly waterproof although I didn't get to test that. My color match is the Medium Tan which is considered "balanced in undertones". I used the sable flat top bronzer brush as the applicator. I think it's a great brush but it does need to be washed a couple times before using. I find myself applying mineral foundation 2 different ways. I either mist my face after moisturizing with a setting spray and buff it on or spray the mist after application. I find that if I spray the mist after, I end up buffing again anyway so why not just spray in the beginning? I would call this a medium coverage foundation with a nice matte finish. Not overly shiny like some mineral foundations can be. The finish isn't "flat" though. There is a slight glow to the foundation that I love. It does end up being a little creamy after the foundation settles into the skin. It also lasted on me all day with no primer. Keep in mind I do not have oily skin but rather normal to dry skin. I am very impressed with this foundation and brush. The foundation is $18.50 for an 8 g jar which is a 3 month supply and the brush is $12.50. They also offer foundation samples for $2.50 if you are unsure what shade you would be. Totally worth a try especially with the money back guarantee.
xoxo
I Touch Roses is an independent line of mineral makeup created by Ahna, an artist who has studied fashion photography, color theory and painting. What caught my attention about this company were the edgy eyeshadow colors. They are very reasonably priced at $7.77 for a 10 gram jar and applicator OR you can get 7 samples for $2.90. I find the shadows right up there in quality with the more known mineral makeup companies. They are very pigmented, easy to blend and long lasting (although I use a primer with all shadows). They carry different finishes from mattes to pearls and shimmers. The more matte finishes are a tad bit chalkier than the other finishes. The color selection is also awesome from your neutrals to your intense electric blues. The swatches on the website are a little more intense than they are in real life so keep that in mind. I made sure my swatches were true to color for your reference. Still pretty though...
Pleasure is a very pretty medium golden brown with golden undertones and slight shimmers. It is a very creamy color that applies oh so smooth and I can see this being a staple color. The gold in Pleasure is a lot more obvious over a white base. Fantastic is an almost forrest green with blue undertones and shimmers. It turns almost teal over a white base. Midnight Sky is a deep, dark blue with grey and purple undertones. Astrology is a medium blue with teal shimmer in it. The teal is very apparent over a white base and I actually think its prettier. Universe is a dark navy with blue shimmer in it. I feel a blue smokey eye coming up!!! Artisan is one of my favorites in the bunch. It is a very unique deep lavender, periwinkle color with purple shimmer. It applies so smooth! Star is a light blue with purple undertones and blue shimmer. Alone is a pink, almost fuschia color and flashes blue with violet shimmer. It is definitely fuschia over a white base. Calm reminds me of vanilla pigment but flashes blue and is less yellow. Pretty, pretty color.
I got some more samples of some Crystal Coast products and I am so excited to try them!! I got 3 shadows Pink Ice, Gold Digger and Little Boy Blue. I also got Pink Champagne Bronzer, Sherbert blush (gawwwwwwwwwgeous) and the Luminous Glow Veil in dark. Just recapping from my last review of Crystal Coast, the shadows (at least the ones I've tried) are not over the top shimmery, very silky smooth and easy to blend. Her blushes are never over the top shimmery... just the perfect glow. They are also very reasonably priced and its always great to support a stay at home mom who, like all of us here, has a passion for makeup.
Right out of the packaging, the Pink Champagne Bronzer and Sherbert Blush jumped out at me. They were so gorgeous!! They are simply divine on. Pink Champagne is a soft pink with peach and gold undertones and gold shimmer. It gives off the perfect glow without looking like a disco ball. I'm telling you Karen has got the formula down! Again I'm not a huge fan of too much shimmer but her products are the perfect balance. The sheen it gives off is amazing! I only wish I could capture it better on camera. Sherbert looks a little bright but when applied it is the the perfect berry pink. Great color for the summer!! It has the same finish as Pink Champagne... perfectly dewy. Pink Ice is a pale, baby pink with an almost metallic finish. Gold Digger is a pale yellow that has a flatter finish than Pink Ice but still pearlescent. It is beyond creamy to apply! Little Boy Blue is a baby blue with the same consistency and finish as Gold Digger. The Luminous Glow Veil in dark is the darker version of what I reviewed here. Swatches are below. I also did a look with Little Boy Blue and Sherbert here and one with just the Glow Veil and Pink Champagne down below.

Jane Iredale is actually the first company to provide a full line of makeup based on minerals to the consumers. They use no fillers, products are non-comedogenic (basically doesn't clog pores), oil free and they do not test on animals.
I'm a lippie girl so the first product I tested was a lipstick called PureMoist™ LipColour in C.J. Its a corally pinky peach color lol... Great description yeah? It looks a little crazy in the tube but goes on a very pretty and not too over the top with a slight shine to it. I actually don't care for lipsticks but this one was pretty good! My lips get pretty chapped so usually lipsticks make it worse. This one was actually pretty moisturizing. It felt like a balm on. It did have that slight lipstick taste but it went away after a couple minutes. It also had the slightest vanilla smell. The lasting power wasn't the best but it wasn't bad either. The great thing is it faded away nicely and didn't leave a funky color on my lips or settle in the cracks or anything. I would definitely try other colors in this line now that I've tried this. They have a pretty good selection of 32 shades. The zinc oxide in them gives an SPF of 18 which is an added bonus. These lippies are $18 each and available here. Here's a lip swatch for ya!
Crystal Coast is an eBay based company that uses 100% natural ingredients to create a high quality yet affordable mineral makeup. They choose not to use bismuth oxychloride which can cause irritation and redness in some. If you ever had a problem with mineral makeup, chances are it was the bismuth oxychloride that caused it. They manufacture all their products which means savings for us, the consumer. I was thoroughly impressed by their website and the range of products available. I know as a makeup junkie myself that I can be quite leery when purchasing on eBay. Crystal Coast is definitely a reputable seller that I would recommend to people who don't like to purchase on eBay. Karen is the mastermind behind Crystal Coast and is an absolute doll!
I received 6 sample sized goodies in the mail, very nicely packaged I might add. All the jars were tightly sealed AND taped securely. I wish ALL mineral makeup companies did this since we all know that loose makeup is very messy. Each jar was professionally labelled on the top of the jar which I loved! It was a clear label with black writing so you could still see through to the product. No more trying to carefully tilt an open jar of loose shadow to find the name of the product! I got 3 shadows in Lucky, Butter Cookie and Pink Pearl. Also, I got a blush in Paradise, an All Over Angel Glow and Luminous Glow Veil. The shadows were very silky, very blendable and not chalky at all. They were also very luminous and had a glow about them as opposed to glitter which is not my style. I can only take so much glitter lol..

Some of you may have heard of Everyday Minerals.. They are a mineral makeup company that actually produces their own all natural makeup and does not private label. They are also against animal testing. They even offer a 60 day money back guarantee on all their products AND they offer a free sample makeup kit (3 different foundation colors, a blush and a concealer). Talk about believing in your product!! Anyway I tried out 2 of their blushes, Best Friends and Once & Again. They are both matte blushes which honestly I prefer. Let me address the packaging first because this was a major plus in my eyes. It had a sifter insert that can actually be closed by sliding a plastic cover over the sifter part. Did that make any sense lol.. Anyway, mineral makeup can be a pain and very messy so anything that helps that is great in my book. Again, I have no affiliation with this company or any other company that I review.
Lumiere Cosmetics is an awesome, affordable yet high quality mineral makeup company that quite frankly doesn't get the attention it deserves. I know there are a lot of Lumiere lovers out there but I hope to introduce this brand to people who haven't heard of it before.
